• Typical Treatment Regimen for T2M0N0 Stage 1 Breast Cancer

Surgery:
Lumpectomy with negative margins, pathological examination of tumor.

Chemotherapy:
4 courses of Adriamycin/Cytoxan at three week intervals, optimized for time of day.

Radiation:
5 weeks of daily radiation to the breast and surrounding tissue,
followed by 6 sessions of higher energy "boost".

Hormone:
Daily 20 mg of tamoxifen for 5 years.
