scene: mattie is watching late night TV

the host is making some jokes with a kid who is doing a science demo.

mattie hears her mom say, "turn off the late show host".

mattie sees the host suddenly get jerked ballisitically back to his chair and dissappear into a black hole just as the TV picture is shrinking from having been turned off.

she puts the controller down, gets up and goes to her computer...
