Testing Installed Configuration

Putting the C6711 into a known state:

After cabling the cs6711 evaluation module (power goes LAST)

1) go to C:\c60001day\labs\lab2
2) doubleclick ConfTest.bat

make sure the lights blink and sound beeps.

1) go to home:\ti\c6000\dsk\conftest
2) doubleclick dsk6xtst.exe

make sure the lights blink and sound beeps.

You can start the Code Composer Studio if these tests pass.

The dustcover should be off during operation to avoid overheating,
ESPECIALLY if the daughter board is running.

The dustcover should be replaced when the unit is powered down.

The unit should be powered down between sessions and at night.
