rueful earth,  planetary process, storms and wind and rock
africa left america, lovers leave leftovers   
without water, seen for what she is,   
a figure  discerned, a  mystery revealed, oneness surely broken,   
she shows her age with crevices and wrinkles,   
her character with stretchmarks and dark voids,   
her inner core is molten, her heart is heavy as iron,   
a single cell awaits her from dimension X,   
a viral spaceship  lands, to  proclaim her domination,   
to set her free an alien hand fortells abomination,   
a single man lays claim to her, the one who made her whole,   
before the fall befell her, destroyed her mortal soul.
